The Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy, in partnership with Haskell Indian Nations University, is proud to announce the Tribal Energy Leaders Fellowship℠ (TELF) — a program designed to cultivate specialized energy expertise within Tribal communities.
Advancing Tribal Sovereignty with the Regenerative Power of Clean Energy
TELF℠ supports Native Nations in their self-determined pursuit of energy sovereignty and sustainable development — helping to reduce poverty, create jobs, and address climate change through culturally aligned, community-led clean energy solutions.
Building Skills for Clean Energy Leadership
Fellows will gain the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complex opportunities and challenges of deploying clean energy and sustainability technologies in their Tribal communities, in ways that reflect Native leadership, values, and long-term goals.
TELF is offered annually. Applications for the Spring 2027 cohort close October 15, 2026: https://tribalcleanenergy.libwizard.com/f/TELF-application_2027
Instruction begins January 21, 2027 and ends April 8, 2027,
with capstone presentations at Haskell Indian Nations University.
