Shaun is an enrolled tribal member of Zuni Pueblo and was born and raised in Zuni. With over 20 years of engineering, analytics, semiconductor manufacturing and project management experience, Shaun serves as the Head of Technical Assistance and Project Development for the Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy. Over the past 12 years, Shaun has been a recognized leader in renewable energy, contributing to the development of more than 45 utility scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects across the western U.S. His expertise spans project origination, project development, M&A, and tribal relations, with collaborations including the U.S. Department of Energy Tribal Energy Programs. Beyond his professional work, Shaun is deeply committed to advancing sustainable energy and economic sovereignty in tribal communities. He is a lifetime Sequoyah Fellow and former board member of the American Indian Science & Engineering Society (AISES), where he is also a member of the Corporate Advisory Council. In his personal time, Shaun supports his family’s business in Zuni Pueblo, contributing to technology, marketing, and management.
