Sam Woods (Navajo Nation) is the Senior Advisor for Engineering and Project Development at the Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy and CEO of RedStreak, LLC. With more than 25 years in energy and infrastructure, he has advanced solar, wind, and battery projects, developed microgrids for tribal facilities, and advised on data-center siting strategies tied to interconnection, cooling, and fiber access.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Woods played a pivotal role for the Navajo Nation, leading major transactions that included over 1,500 MW of power generation, hundreds of millions in capital raises and acquisitions, and long-term revenue agreements exceeding $1 billion. He was instrumental in a $400 million energy acquisition, one of the largest in the Nation’s history, ensuring Navajo interests were represented in high-level negotiations.

Mr. Woods holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from NMSU, is active in IEEE, PMI (PMP), and AISES, and is also a recognized Navajo artist.
