Ravynn Nothstine is a member of the Native Village of Wales and a dedicated advocate for Tribal sovereignty, environmental justice, and Indigenous-led clean energy solutions. She most recently served as a Senior Policy Advisor for the White House Council on Native American Affairs, where she supported interagency collaboration, Tribal consultations, and cross-agency policy development. During her time there, she served as Staff Lead for both the Council’s Education Committee and its Economic Development, Energy, and Infrastructure Committee.
Ravynn brings a decade of cross-sector experience spanning Tribal, federal, nonprofit, and field-based roles, including with the Native American Rights Fund, Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, Alaska Native Justice Center, and as a geologist conducting environmental fieldwork in rural Alaska. She began her policy journey in college as a congressional intern in the U.S. Senate for Alaska and went on to serve as a Legislative Aide in the Alaska State Legislature.

Ravynn holds a J.D. with a Certificate in Federal Indian Law from Arizona State University and a B.A. in Earth Sciences from Dartmouth College. She is passionate about advancing a just transition rooted in Indigenous self-determination and finds grounding and joy in spending time outdoors.
