Brendon Heyn leads the Alliance’s field operations, serving as the technical eyes and ears on the ground on behalf of each Tribe — monitoring Preferred Provider performance against Alliance standards and ensuring that technical execution and project implementation align with each Nation’s goals and vision, from pre-development through groundbreaking. He brings over 20 years of experience in construction management, with deep roots in residential energy efficiency and solar energy, having been an early learner in both industries.
As a licensed master electrician and experienced solar project manager, Brendon has worked with Tesla Energy and owned his own solar company. His interest in how field workers collect and share data has helped shape his career alongside his technical work.
Brendon was proudly one of the first volunteers at GivePower Nicaragua in 2014, and his passion for helping evolved from there to become more local and Tribal — he has contributed to several unique solar projects on the Navajo Reservation over the last decade. He holds a BS in Public Agency Management from Northern Arizona University.
His adult son, Noah, helps him run a pool and electrical services company in Tempe, AZ, and his daughter, Paige, was one of the youngest athletes on Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she placed 6th in Street Skateboarding.
